About Us
Tayarla Custom Furniture Ltd are a bespoke furniture company based in the beautiful Peak District in the heart of the United Kingdom.

From our multiple workshop premises with full fabrication, wood working and steel & wood turning workshops, we aim to create beautiful furniture using locally sourced, reclaimed timbers and steels where ever possible, as well as ethically sourced timbers and supplied from both the UK and abroad. We also repair, refurbish and recycle once loved, quality furniture including wrought iron gates, railings and seating, as we believe in trying to do our bit for the environment.

The majority of the reclaimed steels and fittings we use are shot blasted, to bring them back to life, which are used to create our own ranges of furniture as well as the bespoke work we do. We also use a variety of reclaimed timbers: solid wood worktops, pallet wood, scaffold boards, oak beams & boards, pine & mahogany; to a selection of more exotic timbers from abroad, for our more specialist and live edge work.

The steelwork is then usually powder coated from a choice of our signature colours ( or we can colour match a specific colour from a RAL chart, should you require ), however it can be coated in a clear coating if you are looking for a bare steel look. A specialist coating is added for outdoor use and protects them against the elements, ensuring a long life.

All our reclaimed and imported timbers are planed, sanded and treated with various protective oils and waxes, before being hand polished and giving a quality finish to all of our tables, seating tops and shelving.

Tayarla Custom Furniture loves to create quality British handmade furniture, for both domestic and commercial use, however we also provide a full design, refurbishment & installation service for both indoor and outdoor projects. Previous projects include the full refurbishment of a selection of restaurants, bars, offices, mancaves, summer houses and a music studio.
